Roseline barbs @ Petsmart in FC

$3.49 in Petsmart in Fremont, CA, back in Jan.
the price was marked on the $6.99 sale tag, as new low price, $3.49.

that was the last time I went on $0.99 cardinal tetra hunt in Petsmart, and three weeks without seeing any cardinal tetra I finally got them from somewhere else.
But for the $3.49 Roseline shark, never bother to try to hunt for it, it is a new sale strategy, it is a charming price with close to zero certainty, or win the lottory chance to get them, but, hey, they always tell you that you can get it if you come sooner and often, if still not avalable, there are some other things you can choose from, and you will never be disappointed if you leave the shop without empty hands...

how many of you did actually buy the RS with sale price from Petsmart?
If I am employee in Petsmart, I will grab the bag of lottery as one in many new stocks in the US come in Tues or Thurs morning, or hide them then sell to anyone I prefer if there is a policy issue...

Hopefully a typical Petsmart customer doesn't buy a few of these to put in his/her 20 gallon tank.

That'll be a shame. I love these fishes.

I would've lol, if I didn't know about their care... they do look nice!! BUT I'm not much of a Barb person, unless someone can convince me enough like how *COUGH*noahma*COUGH* makes me wanna really get some Pseudomugil Rainbows....

Three years ago we got them in at the Dover, DE PetSmart. They were $24.99 then. No one bought them for 6 months. After that, their price dropped every other week until they were 7.47 and I snatched them for my 75gal.
I am working on the west coast(Lincoln store) now and have yet to see them in this wave of "special buys". They are sending them to stores, but generally only once or twice, and only to higher volume stores.
