CO2 Cylinders?

Where can I get a cheap 5lb or 10lb co2 cylinder online? Thanks

More important is where you will be getting it filled. No use getting a cheap tank online if the nearest place to fill it is 50 miles away. A lot of places only do tank swaps, often only with the tanks that they've originally sold to you.

I got mine at a local Brewery equipment store. I saw some a little cheaper afterwards on eBay. Supposively you can find them at Welding shops as well, although none around me carried them. Best bet is Brewery stores.

I agree with the above posts too. I will add look at local welding supply shops. My local store has a swap program and only charges $8.39 for a 5 lb bottle swap.

I use a 2.5lb cylinder (which I had filled at a homebrew store) that I bought at BeverageFactory.com.

They have 5 lb ones for $55.

I found in my area that welding suppliers only carry used cylindars and industrail grade C02. It took some looking but I finally found a store (Carolina Carbonics) that carried new cylindars with food grade C02 that they refill, you don't have to swap out your cylindar.

Also don't forget larger fire equipment stores. I find that the best deals on cylinders are from the companies that service fire extinguishers.
