Shipping took 2 days. The guy i got them from(Gary Lange) whipped them in styro. He tols me that this is one of the hardest plants to ship since the leaves do not hold up well of they stick to a bag.
From an email i got from him: "I think the main problem with macrandra (assuming you have good lights & CO2) is getting a good start of plants. These guys are really tough to ship. If you ship them too wet the leaves stick to the bag. When that happens it's like the leave can't breath anymore and then it "melts". People that get really wet bags of these and other delicate plants sometimes swear that the person sent them plants via the microwave!" |
