I am an expert on algae, so ask me if you have questions. I know how to grow it, just not how to get rid of it.

Mini4x:

You have a bit of a mix of plants in there. The large leafed one is likely and anubius and will put out a new leaf every week or two. The low growing leafy looks like a crypt which can 'melt' <especially new tanks> or take a month or two to get established. Both of the above are medium light plants. The grassy plant is likely a chain sword that requires a bit more light and propigates by runners. The two stem plants look like high light plants based on color and leaf shape.

So stay with it as it may take some time for the plants you chose to get going. Do you have a source or rotatilla inca <sp?>, hydro, pearlweed, watersprite, or any other stout fast growing stem plants to help you get going? I started my tank with these generic plants that I would sell back or trade before I moved on to crypts etc.
