HELP! Australian Rainbow split mouth

So, I've been upset lately with my male rainbowfish in my 48 gallon tank. I noticed him to be very sick 4 days ago with a deteriorating mouth, ich, and large bumps under his scales.

I started treating my tank for the ich first with ich attack, and now the ich is cleared up. However, his mouth has gotten even worse. I know for a fact that he's had what looks like an extra white lip protruding from his mouth ever since I purchased him at petsmart (maybe not so 'smart'). I noticed 4 days ago that his entire bottom lip split and the left side is deteriorating where this bump was.

I have also upped the tank temp to 82 degrees to treat the ich. I've done a little research, but it sounds like my rainbow has mouth rot! There is no fuzzy growths on him though so I've ruled out fungus.

I have no quarantine tank ATM and I'm going on vacation this week. Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do to save him? (besides euthanization)

Any tips greatly appreciated. This guy is my favorite fish in my tank.

I also need to add that I do 15-25% water changes weekly and there are no other fish in my tank that would attack my rainbow. I have not seen any aggression in the tank

Stocking:
-4 otos -6 glowlights -10 guppies
-3 glass catfish -1 zebra loach -2 peppered cories -1 zebra danio
-1 male and 1 female Australian rainbowfish

I'd suggest using some Melafix, and doing 50% water changes daily for a few days. Continue with 50% partials each week after this. If You have no other tank or rubbermaid bin you can use to isolate this fish, you will have to medicate the whole tank. I'm not sure how Oto's, and Glass Catfish will fair with using Melafix though, so read the instructions. A ten dollar Rubbermaid bin will be your best friend to have in the future for these sorts of things

I looked into the melafix warnings and it is even safe to use on invertebrates. I also read that people have no problems using it with otos, cories, and the glass catfish.

I like the rubbermaid bin idea as a quarantine tank. I'll have to pickup a filter and heater too for a quarantine when I have the $$.

Cuchulainn, do you think this is mouth rot?

The Plan: dose melafix alongside water changes for the next couple days, hope for the best.

I can't say for sure what it is.it's pretty haggered though. Large volume water changes weekly will be your best friend for these fish, actually all fish. You have a heavy bio load on that tank, 15-25% weekly is not nearly enough imo.
I would also leave the thermostat at 82 for the fish you care for

"Vacation/Christmas is on hold sweetheart, gotta stay home and nurse the fish back to health!" lol
