Anyone near Springfield/Central Il ?

I always see stuff in here for Chicago and whatnot, but sadly i can't seem to find anyone here that lives around central illinois.

Would love to have a group to talk/trade with and such instead of being forced to commute 3-4hrs north for such things which makes the whole trip a bit redundant.. and why i haven't gone there yet.

There's only 1 LFS here(TheFishMan) in springfield and it's not bad but it's not exactly the best one i've seen/been-to either, but at least better than petsmart/petco..

Im about an hour and a half North of you. I think our best bet is to meet at the Champaign area fish exchange. I havent been yet, but seems like the most likely place to meet other downstaters.

holyangel i live just north of decatur. there is a fish auction in champaign on the 15th of jan. in urbana. also check out ken's fish store in decatur. a nice place

Nice! I'll definitely see if I can make it to the auction this Saturday, and I'll remember to go by kens fish store next time im in Decatur for sure
