This plant likes decent light for sure, just make sure everything else matches the light level and it will grow like a true weed

Mine's growing pretty fast already, though it hasn't switched over to it's submerged form yet. Same coloration though, but with big broad leaves

It is a monster of a plant. I have mine under a good solid medium light and I have to trim it every week. light red at the top the rest is a nice light green. I hope to bring out the red in it in the 40b when I get that setup in a couple weeks.
