Both of those are sweet!
I will have to take a pic of my ride for ya, so you can have a good chuckle. It's a 1984 Buick LeSabre Ltd  It's a freakin land yacht and raggedy as heck but I luv it! Oh yeah, I am 5'6" Maybe one day something like a mini would be my style, but it would take the following equation: Me - Kids + Money= Mini Kelly

I've got two little yard apes myself, 8 and 6. They're old enough to get in and out by themselves. We no longer need diaper bags and strollers and all the stuff that goes along with infants. I don't know, maybe I'll trade the Jetta. But I really love my Jetta. What to do. What to do.

They're very cool. I autocross my Mustang and see a few of those Mini's show up at the track. They're extremely nimble, but have a bit of a harsh ride and obviously lack in power. They're peppy enough for most, though, I'm sure.

First, I think the new Minis are some of the sharpest-looking vehicles on the road today. Since I've never driven one, they may be all looks as far as I know.
Back in the 60's there was a NASA engineer in my neighborhood who used to modify the old British Mini Cooper S. He's take them down to the body shell and rewire controls into the door, rebuild the engines, and get really snappy paint jobs. The flat rooves were good for a painted Union Jack or small checkerboard pattern, and when he was done he used to race them cross-country. James

They are a nice looking car, but I am 6'3", with a torso that is disproportionately long for my height. My seated height is more like a guy who is 6'6". I have yet to find a "sporty" or compact car that I am comfortable in. It is mini vans, pick up trucks, and SUVs all the way for me.
