Tropical Fish Swap Meet Nov. 7th

I saw this mentioned on another site and checked it out. As it is not advertising for another site I figured it would be okay. If not feel free to delete. I wanted to pass the info on to some fellow Chicagoans and suburbanites. See link for details. I am going to be on the look out for some corys that is for sure.

Okay so for 6 bucks my gf and I were able to go in. At least 3 tables through out the room were filled with plants in baggies. Reasonable prices it seemed. I can't say that it was lots of rare stuff, but the selection was pretty large. I picked up a 3 inch diameter lava rock with Glosso on it for 3 bucks. I had to refrain from making more purchases, due to the fact I only brought a small portion of cash. All sales seemed to be cash and carry. The main thing I was there was for 20 RCS. I had previously worked the transaction out with the seller and met him at his table that day. I even picked up 4 Peppered Cory from him and I am pretty sure he purposefully gave me 2 males and 2 females. Word of note, while I did see plenty of children there, it was shoulder to shoulder traffic walking through the main area. We showed up just after 11AM and I could overhear people say the first hour had been busy and some fishes were sold out depending on the species. If you go to this thing knowing what you want, I am fairly confident you won't walk away disappointed. Worst thing it made me want to do is get more tanks, plants and fish and try my hand at selling them myself.
