I have just bought a Marineland Magnum 350 canister filter and would like to know from those that use the similar filters what they use in place of the activated carbon for planted tanks?

Back when I had one I used to peat in there. Some people use the basket for there favorite bio media. Basically what ever you want to put in there to accomplish what ever you need to do.
90 gallon tank with water and some fish. Plants died and tank overrun with algae. Lights nearly burst into flames last weekend. Needs lots of help

While balancing on a piece of wood, two inches by four inches known as a 2x4, John and his friend Sally both spotted a dalmatian inside of a truck with sirens. The animal with John and Sally is a _ _ _?
