First 3 months mine did not do much and had some dark spots but then started to take off. 6 months now and it is more than 5 times its original size. I attached 2 plants to a large piece of driftwood by pushing it in the cracks. The wood is almost completely covered now and the root structure is amazing. I am so glad I waited it out.

The picture is not misleading, that is what the plant looks like!
The fronds of the fern can get to 8-10" tall if they are grown in optimal conditions. The plant stays fairly low, in proportion to it's own growth. The fronds of the plant tend to sag and hang a bit. So much for the "Search"! Mike

Just try the plant! It is a great one. Nice shape and nice color. If you don't like the plant you can always swap it with someone for something else!

One of my favorites. Put it close to the outflow of your filter, it loves current. The green that this plant gets with good lights and CO2 is unlike any other aquarium plant IMO. It looks like it is made of see-through plastic.
I have mine growing horizontally out of some wood. I love watching the new fronds uncurl, and pearl as they do. Mmmm bolbitis.

These plants go for a lot!
I had a piece of rhizome about 6" long attached to a rock about 3lbs nicely grown and my LFS took it for $12.50! They sell it for double in return With the speed mine grows at, I can pop them a plant every months or so Granted its no get rich quick scheme, but its free money to fund my hobby and will grow at that speed even if I neglect it now and then. And it looks good too!
