Unless it is directly from the wild, plants usually adapt well to any water (so I have read). My swords prefer soft acidic water but alas, my parameters are just like yours and they are thriving in my low-tech. My slightly-higher-tech with only UG is doing great. I have no experience with HC.
To counter my hard water issues I use Aquasoil as my substrate and immediately my plants showed they are happy.

My tap water is very hard and everything I have tried has grown very well. I cut with distilled water in the beginning, but stopped that months ago and have seen no consequences.

As mentioned, plants will grow fine in hard water. I have grown both Dwarf Hairgrass and HC with great success in hard water.
