Brads 2.5g Nano journal. My first planted tank.

OK so this is my first posting on here and this is also my first planted tank.

2.5g tank (took the black rim off the top)
13w Fluval light form my Ebi which I haven't setup yet
Aqua Clear 20 filter
Azoo plant grower bed substrate
Pressurized co2 paintball setup 2bps for right now
Drop checker

Plants:
Dwarf Baby Tears (Hemianthus Callitrichoides)
Phoenix Moss (Fissiden Fontanus)
Cryptocoryne Parva
Anubias Nana (I think lol)

Let me know what you guys think and any suggestions you may have. I was wondering also if there would be an issue with too much co2 while there are only plants in the tank? I plan to put some shrimp in here more than likely some CRS probably S or SS grade. I know that once they are in there I have to keep the co2 at a safe level or they will die but will it adversely effect my plants if there is a lot of co2 in there for now?

no,not as far as i know, run the co2 as high as you like but the plants will only use a certain amount the rest will be wasted.

To be honest I don't know the relationship of algae and co2 well enough to say. I know low co2 paired with high light, high ferts will cause algae and I'm sure it will help keep it at bay but algae has a tendency to not do what you expect of it lol. I'm sure a guru will chime in with some biological reasoning....

Sorry for the crappy phone pics. But here are a few of the tree. It's filling in nicely. Unfortunately it was almost killed off when I went away on vacation for a week and a half. My roommate never turned the lights on haha. So the rest of the tank looks pretty bad. May be time for a rescape lol.
