old tanks
Hi folks
trying to start up a 20g low tech project.. planning on using a tank i used to use... havent used this for at least 5 years during that time stayed indoors and out of light the whole time no cracks on glass just curious.. is there anything i should do pre-starting this up? thanks in advance.. |

Clean it up a bit with vinegar and hot water.

fill it up with a hose leave it over night no puddle then your more then likely good.
even with old tanks ive done nothing more than spray it with a hose and wiping it off with paper towels, but ive never had problems with deposits that needed anything strong.
