That regulator doesn't state that it is meant for a paintball co2 tank. You will need a co2 paintball adapter in order to use that 9oz paintball tank.
Here is the adapter that I mentioned: http://www.homebrewing.org/The-Adapt...er_p_1122.html I do not think that a 9oz tank would last long with your 29 gallon tank. Just find a 5 or 10lb co2 tank off of craigslist.

Miketag, here is a list of the cities in New York state that have their own Craig's lists.
I know NY is a big state, but one of these should be worth a drive if the deal is good. Do searches on the For Sale/Wanted category on each of these terms: CO2, dioxide, beer, keg, brewing albany binghamton buffalo catskills chautauqua elmira-corning finger lakes glens falls hudson valley ithaca long island new york city oneonta plattsburgh-adirondacks potsdam-canton-massena rochester syracuse twin tiers NY/PA utica-rome-oneida watertown Deals are out there. I got my first CO2 tank, an aluminum 10lb one, by purchasing everything from a young man selling his home brewing setup. After re-selling everything but the tank, it ended up costing under $10.00. I'd mention the next three deals on tanks, but that would really be bragging. |

Worst case you can go to a welding supply store, a lot of times they have used ones. If not a new one is slightly under a $100 bucks filled up.

Coming from someone who's first setup was a paintball regulator/cylinder, avoid these at all costs, unless it is your only choice. Red Sea makes a system designed for paintball cylinders and I have it, but the system costs approximately $200, has no solenoid to shut if off at night (runs 24/7 wasting CO2), and the cylinders are nearly the same cost as a standard size.
I bought the Red Sea one for about $200, then a 20oz cylinder for another $40. The cost to fill the cylinder was about $10. It would last me approximately 1.5-2 weeks on my 29 gallon. So I had to refill it twice a month for a total of $20. I have since bought a Milwaukee MA957 regulator, which includes a bubble counter, solenoid, and needle valve, plus a 5lb tank for around $150 with shipping. That tank cost me about $25 to fill and so far has lasted me about a month, with no drop in pressure. Shop around and get a full size system. You'll save money up front and in the long run. |

There are actually good deals on ebay right now. Don't use a paintball tank. You will just end up regretting it later after you've wasted cash on refills that are almost the same price as 5lb refills.
