JBJ Reaction 4-Stage Canister Filters

Well my Fluval 404 has sprung a leak. Lost about 3 to 4 gallons before I noticed it was leaking. But thankfully I have learned from past disasters, it is a good thing to place the canister filter inside a plastic storage bin. So all of the lost water was contained.

Anyways the filter is old and I'm thinking of replacing it with another JBJ Reaction 4-Stage Canister Filters. I already have a EFU-25 model running and I just love it. Easy to maintain, lots of space unlike the Fluval, comes with a built in 5W UV sterilizer and the price is just great compared to other canisters. Only thing I don't like is the clear rubber hose that are a bit stiff to work with but are manageable. I'm thinking of getting a EUF-45 to add to the EUF-25.

So I was just wondering if anyone else here is using or has used this canister. I have had my EUF-25 for over a year with no problem and runs very silent. I did a search here and at other forums and no info popped up. Kinda surprised that more people have not mentioned this canister.... yes, Eheims are great and I own one and several people rave about the FilStar Canister Filters. But now I'm trying to figure out if I'm lucky with this JBJ Reaction 4-Stage Canister Filters I have, cause they might suck for others. But then I would find negative reviews... thing is there is not much out there on this canister.

Your JBJ looks very similar to my SunSun. I have a feeling they might be the same product just different brands. How about ordering a Sunsun and comparing it to your JBJ for us?

I believe JBJ and some other products imported out of China are all the same, different labels. Sun Sun as well.
