Milwaukee area LFS

Hi,

Anyone from the Milwaukee area keeping shrimp? I was wondering if you sell your culls locally? I know aquatics unlimited buys them, but I was wondering if there were any other good places that I overlooked. Thanks!

Milwaukee has the best LFS anywhere. I miss them.

The Fish Factory has a handful of shrimp in right now (yellow neos, blue tigers and others) , and I haven't seen any at Aquatics Unlimited in a couple months? I was just at Hoffer's last month and they seem to have gone from amazing to average. I am planning on keeping cherries soon (I can't find any locally either, so online it is) so hit me up in a couple months.

I haven't been to the fish factory in a while, but now I will have to go there again. I need another local place to sell my culls. I think Hoffer's has gotten average too. I remember going there before and they had low grade CRS and yellow neos. Now they only have a few very sad looking RCS.

Hoffer's is closing...most fish stuff is already sold.
I have seen some RCS at The Feed Bag. They had some nice looking a Nerite snails last week.

Im from Appleton and have been looking for someone selling culls also. Ive even had an ad on craigslist but cant find anyone. I'm not trying to thread jack, but has anyone had luck ordering online and shipping during these cold months of the year?

You can ship in winter, just ask that they use a heat pack and make sure you are home to receive them. You will likely have to pay a few bucks extra for the heat pack, but it is worth it. I also would avoid shipping in the dead of winter when it is below zero. Aquatics unlimited had a variety of neos and some low grade CRS the last time I went there. Since you are in Appleton, if you are going to make the journey, just call ahead to see what their inventory is. I still think you can get a better deal though aquabid though.

I actually found a dude on aquabid selling them and messaged him. I met up with him at aquatics-got like 30 for 15 bucks!
