Planted Tank Obsessed

Anybody use gu24 bulbs?
I bought a lamp for my 2.5g nano from Home Depot a few months back, that came with a 14W 6000K daylight gu24 bulb. Recently, the bulb died, and I learned during my trip to buy a replacement that gu24 bulbs apparently come almost exclusively in 2700K. I needed something though, so I got a 13W 2700K bulb, and that's what has been running over the tank for the last week or so. It's a terrible yellow shade.
Does anybody have any idea where I can find a 13W or 14W bulb, with a color anywhere between 5000 and 10000 Kelvin? The best I've been able to find with Google is 4100K. Help me, the yellow is gross... |

These CFL bulbs, with a gu24 base, come in many form factors: spiral twist, globe, quad tube, and parabolic (par). Which type is yours?
If it's a quad tube then here is a link for a 5100K 14W quad tube through GoodMart: TCP 13 Watt 5100K Quad Tube Fluorescent PL Lamp, GU24 Base If the bulb is globe type, then you have far more color temperature options. Here's a link for a 6500K 14W globe bulb: TCP 14 Watt 6500K G25 Globe Fluorescent Lamp, GU24 Base If it's neither of these form factors, then you can use this link to search through all the CFL gu24 bulbs: GU24 Base CFL Cheers! .
