Macro Shots (56k warning)

I've been having trouble taking good macro shots with my Kodak DX4330 camera and I finally figured out that it has a macro mode! I went nuts taking some macro pictures this weekend and was so overjoyed that I had to share a few with you guys!

Ok, not aquatic, but I couldn't resist posting a pic of the beautiful cherry blossoms!

My Sunset Hygro has been growing somewhat stunted. Nitrates and Phosphates were nearly zero with CO2 around 40ppm. Need to keep a tighter rein on things!

Wow, nice pictures Sam. Hmm...now why can't I get my little bunch of riccia to look like that. My father also sent me some pictures of cherry blossoms in Taiwan. I'll post em later if anyone wants to see.

Every time I dose phosphates, the riccia starts pearling like that. I keep my CO2 levels rather high (35ppm) and they only pearl when PO4 is at least 0.7ppm. Post some of those cherry blossoms here! This thread is just for cool pictures, really.

Thanks alot Kyle, got my fleet enema and dosing phosphates. My CO2 is fairly high, we shall see if this works.

What camera/settings did you use, Dr Jay? Those bubbles on the second picture are so clear you can almost see the reflection of the rest of the tank floor. Awesome!

I have Canon G2 w Lensmate +4,+2,+1 macro lens.

I used high aperture, macro setting on the camera, manual focus, tripod, no light in the room and 160Watts of light over 55G tank.

First picture was taken with friends HP camera. Second w/ Canon.

I've got to get the +7 and +10 Ektanar close up lenses for my camera. This is way too much fun, haha.
