How's it here? It's great (LOL)

I'm in Louisville, not far from Knox.
You may have to come here to find what you want, Louisville
has a lot of pet shops, not sure about Ft Knox, can't be much if any.

I raise angelfish and will be happy to help you if I can.
If I still have have some by the time you get set up, I'll give you a couple.
How's that for a welcome!!!

I lived in Fort Knox for a few years. Cant say much about the place Not much going on when I was there. There is a neighboring town called Radcliffe(sp), its in the Guinness Book of World records for the most fast food restaurants in a quarter mile

I lived in Louisville 30 years ago and had beautiful planted tanks without any algae problems using tap water, Texblast for substrate, and simple shoplights (one cool white, one warm white) for light fixtures. No CO2, no ferts, no nothing.

I had no idea how good I had it.

These days, I wonder if it was something about the water?

Louisville is known world-wide for their water system.
(People from other countries come here to study it)
It's suppose to be one of the best, but that's for drinking I guess.
I don't know about for fish. It does run high on the PH scale,
and it has chloramines, but it hasn't been a problem for me so far.
And I've been doing fish here for over 45 yrs-LOL
