We have several people from Ct. here on the Planted Tank..Just might have to start a club up!! Throw an add in the local paper, or throw up a few flyers, and you would be surprised at the responses!

I would take a bi-monthly or monthly road trip if one was organized... now all we need is a place and someone who has a clue and the time to set one up...

Yeah, I'd definitely be interested in catching up with some people. I don't know you all well, but you like fish so I trust you.

I'll throw my hat in if bi-monthly doesn't mean twice a month... And I'll find out where timr is hiding (he lives darn near next door) and drag him along too!

Maybe someone should plot on a map where we're all from, and then pinpoint a centralish point. Just a suggestion.

I'd be interested as well. Unfortunately I don't have time to organize it, but I can certainly pitch in from home. Once every couple months would be real cool. I think theres a couple people from the Hartford/Southington way, and I know Steve and Tim are down in the Fairfield area. There Used to be a guy from the Litchfield area which aint too far from my house.

If we could manage to gather 10 or more people it'd be pretty cool. Maybe we should ally ourselves with a local fish club and get started that way...you know infiltrate them and then take over . LOL

Yes we will find a place and be geeky and merry. I have some Bolivian Rams up for adoption if anyone is interested. 2 juveniles and an adult. I am so new to all of this (planted tank) so this would be a great learning experience. Maybe we should plan a trip to the Mystic Aquarium at least, to meet and enjoy the hidden amazon exhibit. I would suggest Norwalk, but almost all their exhibits are salt water.

Ooooh, I like the mystic aquarium idea. I moved here from England in 2004 and haven't had a chance to go yet!
