Decipher a Regulator?
Looking at a regulator on the auction site.
It's a Linde, dual-stage reg. It's brand new, with code "FMD 332 MB 320" The high side gauge reads up to 6,000 psi and the low 90 psi, so I'm assuming it's 3000/45. I think the FMD is a European or German only designation...I can't find jack about it on American sites. The 320 apparently refers to the inlet fitting. It looks like stainless steel, but could also be chrome plated brass, though the fittings look to be stainless. Anyone familiar with these regulators? The price seems nice for brand new, stainless, and 3-stage (and no need to change the nipple!). |

That Linde is made by DruVa (German, I think) and is chrome plated brass. The high pressure gauge goes to 5800psi and low goes to 90psi. You will have a usable range up to about 50psi. It's actually a nice unit. I've had a couple of them.

Awesome!
It has passed the "oldpunk test"! Now I can move on to obsessing over a metering valve instead. |
