Greenville, NC?

I was curious to know if there are any clubs, or even any other members near my city. Sadly we only have a SweetPets and a Petsmart.

If not a group/club, any suggestions of good pet stores in surrounding counties?

check out carolinafishtalk - it's mostly a saltwater site but there are a few experienced freshwater guys there.

There are a few clubs listed as well as most of the shops in NC

I know it's not super close but there are quite a few folks in Raleigh that I've slowly started to connect with. If you are ever in the area, I'm working on growing up my first planted tank but I can point you to some great shops. I'll trade once I get something to trade

I also am in Raleigh, but graduated from ECU. GOOOOO PIRATES!!!!

My girl is in Burlington, soon moving here to Raleigh.

I've seen most all of the LFS from here to the coast and so far the only one I really like is near Wake Forest.

Sweet Pets is sorry for freshwater side of the hobby. Salt is less than average. Don't even talk about Petsmart, they ain't got sh....

...Greenville area roll call: anybody out there?

Update: word is that 'Sweet Pets' has been sold, no loss. I tried to give them my business and $$$ but the people there had zero interest in assisting me. Now I go to 'Fish Fish Fish' in Plymouth. It's less than an hour's drive away, and has EVERYTHING!

I just moved to Cary from Greenville last year after graduation! I know what you mean about Sweet Pets. GEEZ. I made the mistake of trying to make small talk once. :eye roll:
