Planted tank aquarium club central Indiana

My name is Dave and I live near Indianapolis and I want to start a planted aquarium club. So far I have myself and two other people interested in doing this if you are interested PM me and I will keep everyone posted on when we are going to have our first meeting.

I just joined the site. My wife and I are starting our first planted aquariums (two 29 gal tanks). We're new to central Indiana and we would like to get out more and make some pals. Any info on this club? Thanks.

I am also in Indy, and have been immersing myself in the hobby lately. Are you guys familiar with Circle City Aquarium Club? I have not attended a meeting or function myself due to time constraints, but it looks like a good organization who welcome new hobbyists. There is a user on this forum who is the Horticulture awards chair or something like that. Her user name is JenThePlantGeek, I think.

Anyway, maybe that club would be what you are looking for, rather than starting a new one.

Good to know, I guess. I am not currently keeping cichlids. I am a lowly tetra keeper, along w a couple of platies.
