2 tanks 1 light?

I just bought a 12 inch ligh a while ago from one of the members in this forum and I was going to put it over my picotope. But the idea struct. Would it be a good idea to put one 12 inch light over two 6 inch cubes?

The cubes would be the Current Betta Cube USA. Or another 6 inch cube.
But the top and bottom part will be shaved to suit it somewhat like this:

Making it look like to have one trim for top and bottom.

Do you think the lights would be too strong for it? It's gonna be a low light tank. One would be for cpo and the other would be another rcs tank

Or should I just use the light on my pico or another 12 inch tank (not by combining 2 other tanks.)?

I think it would look good dude. The only issue is that is you aren't lookin at a ton of light so I'm assuming you aren't gonna be very planted?

Your usual low tech. Driftwood with fissiden/xmas moss and petites and bolbitis/java fern windelov/trident/philippine on the background with 10 rcs or cpo.

And dosing excel/ferts in very little amounts. Small HOB with a small heater in the back compartment of the HOB.
