Canister Filter Advice

Hello,

I'm getting ready to purchase my first canister filter, well second if you consider the HOT Magnum that needs to be returned because of missing parts. My plan was to use the HOT Magnum to get the water started and reduce some of the cloudyness from the flourite, while I waited for the primary canister filter to arrive. I'm thinking of using an Eheim 2231 in a 29g tank.

Anyone have reasons to use a larger, smaller or different manufacturers product?

Thanks,

Leif
