I broke down and purchased 3 nerites, due to another BBA outbreak. I thought they would have been olive nerites, but they are TRACKED!!! Beautiful things. Now all I need to do is cut down my population of pond snails, and we will be good.

Cool! Pics? I might get one for my 5g since I'm having issues with green algaes.

I dont at the moment, they have already put a noticeable dent in the algae in the tank, they have only been in there for a few hours.

I am not sure. They seem to be open every other day though. The tank with the Nerites is in the first left past the salt water stuff, first tank on the right upper row. They were 3.99 each.

here is one of the little guys cleaning my *cough* fake wood.

AI has some various horned snails? The clithon coronas (I think that's at least close enough to the scientific name that you get my point). Was in Exotic Aquatics a few days ago and they still had the red spot nerites.

I was just in there last night... unfortunately I did not look for them lol although they just received a GREAT shipment of plants in which I partook of lol. They also had some CPD's, they were a little pricey though at 9.99 / ea.

Aquatic Dog has had the Nerite snails in the past. I have also seen them at Golden Fish on Colfax recently.

Anyone seen any Nerites lately? Visited a few stores around north Lakewood and Wheat Ridge this weekend and didn't see any. My Otos and pleco are taking care of my plants and glass, but my rocks are starting to get a decent amount of algae. Figured some Nerites would do the trick and I wouldn't have to worry about them multiplying.

I am a little worried about shipping right now with the temps. Thanks for the site though.

I guess I should have said I was going to be picky and am looking for some Zebra or Horned ones. Thanks though, Fish Den was one of the places I stopped. It literally was standing room only and I didin't see any labeled nerites, but I probably just missed the tank.

There are several Olive Nerites at D&G Pets right now.

I believe they are under $2.00 each
