Is there any store in Colorado that has Fresh water Nerite Snails?
I checked with Fish den, they do not carry them, Aquatic imports in Boulder does not carry them. Any other place that might? I would like some of the Zebra Nerites, but Olive Nerites would be fine too.

I've been looking as well. Haven't found any so far in the Denver area, but have quite a few stores to call
Of course, it's much more fun to go and see what the stores have, instead of just calling...but that's just me Will update if I find any. |

I don't think D&G Pets has them right now. Once in the while they get new things. Today I went by and they had Small Cherry Shrimp, Dwarf Puffers, Red Blonde Guppies, etc. They never had those before, maybe eventually...

They just seem to be quite a rarity here.

I bought olive nerites from Todd's Tropical Fish a couple of weeks ago, and last week I found tiger and tracked nerites at Exotic Aquatics in Boulder. Give them a call quick! Hopefully they still have some in stock.

hm... Last time I asked about them at Exotic Aquatics they told me they did not carry the fresh water nerites lol. my wife has me on a spending freeze as far as the tank goes at the moment. When I am able to buy some more stock, I think I will have to ask them again.

I am in Colo Spgs. I breed freshwater inverts. I stock/can order just about any nerite/snail or other inverts you might need.

Thank you for the offer Cichlid_bob, I decided to go another way with the stocking in my tank. The algae problem I did have is gone now, and the cherry shrimp are doing a great job of eating all the other stuffs in the tank

I was in Exotic Aquatics in Boulder last week and they had a tank of Nerite Snails mixed with Amano shrimp. Both looked beautiful and healthy. I got some Amanos - they've been cleaning all week long!
