I've only got orange neocaridina, so can't help you out. I ended up buying online.

Are you selling any of your orange ones, Andy? I just saw a pic of them on another thread, and they are lovely.

Heh, that's a horrible pic, too.

I hadn't really thought about it too much. I might turn loose of some. They kind of self regulate their population, so I'd probably not even miss a few.

How many were you thinking you might want?

No set number really.....just whatever you'd be willing to part with. If they breed like regular cherries, I know even with a few, you can get A LOT of babies. For the time being, they'll have a 30 gallon cube all to themselves....lol.

Out of curiosity, what is the ph from your tap? I think mine is around 7.4-7.6. Just curious if that's the norm for Nashville.

I think it's somewhere close to that. I'll have to check. But the tank they're in is running Aquasoil, so it's buffered down a bit.

That said, I didn't have trouble moving a pair into my Aqueon Evolve 4 that has dirt+black blasting sand. I just drip acclimated them over an hour IIRC.

(The Evolve4 now has about three or four spawns of babies already, that the shrimp were only added three months ago).

I think I started with 12 of these in my 9 gallon cube.

I'll check my tap and tank water and let you know. Might be this weekend.

That would be great. Just let me know what you'd like for them. I have a spare, never used medium smallish piece of mopani if you'd like it too.
