How is your Filstar XP3 set-up?

Hey all! I just got the Filstar XP3(M) for my new 40 gallon tank. It didn't come with much in the way of media. Just some some sponges and literally 6 biostars and some carbon pads. So how do you guys have yours set-up?

I don't have my tank running yet, but I ordered extra stars for my xp3. Other than that, I'll probably replace the carbon that came with it for more sponges.

For the mechanical filtration I have a 30ppi foam pad in the bottom of the bottom basket. I then have 2 20ppi pads on top of the 30ppi pad.
In the next basket I have ceramic rings for my biological filtration.
In the top basket I have filled it about half way with more ceramic media and then place a pouch of purigen, a small bag of crushed coral and then top that with some filter floss to polish the water even more.

My water looks crystal clear.

BTW, I am running this on a 75g planted discus tank.

Similar to mstamper above. Bottom basket has a 30 ppi and 2 x 20 ppi pads. In the middle basket I have it filled with the (5-6) bio-stars that came with the filter and Fluval Biomax. In the top basket I have 2 micron polishing pads and a 200 ml pouch of Seachem Purigen. Crystal clear water. This is on a 75 gallon heavily planted aquarium. Click on my signature for more info on the tank.

*Disclaimer....I also have a Fluval 306 on this aquarium.

Thanks for the replies! I wish the didn't cheap out in providing a few bucks of media to fill the new filter.
