hmm i hope they are not dead that was only one day after shiping ! they did freeze in the mail but havent went dark yet !
roots looked good!
i am getting co2 very soon as well
vals can be pretty tough, i should have clarifed my statement to say that the leaves look dead, they vary well could recover. did you notify that shipper about it?
vals need to be planted with the crown (the part the roots connect to) slightly above the substrate. I'd snip off all but one leaf then replant them shallower, so they can have a fighting chance..
thanks for the info i dont think i will uproot them but i will pull them up and out a little !
ive placed hoods from two of my 5g tanks on the sides of my edge to give them some better lighting for now as well ! seems to be helping
ok no super filter yet but i did get the cheap little fluval co2 kit !
installed in two mins only thing about it is you have to turn the knob to fill up the diffuser and if you dont really tighten it it leaks like 3 decent sized bubbles a minite i think ill let it empty and see how long it takes to fill that huge diffuser !
