hello. i just joined this site and i am in Augusta Maine. have you had any luck finding any freshwater clubs here? i have had a heck of a time. though i don't have transportation to portland for meetings . but i would love to be able to trade plants (once mine start to take off as this is my first real run with planted tanks) ideas, and learn more about them.
is anyone still interested in starting a trading group for plants and such? my tanks have taken off with growth that i didn't think would happen so fast. i have given A LOT of plants away locally. and would love to trade for some more interesting and possibly colorful plants.
industry you are close to me. pm me if you are still interested in trades. i am in need of a new amazon sword as i am getting ready to move one from my son's tank into the 60 gallon. it is starting to get to big.
that is awesome. i have a little java moss. i would be glad to split it with you. always willing to help someone get started. pm me where you are located.

I've got 3 planted freshwater tanks, 70g,10g and a 5g.my plants are pretty stretched out as i just started my 70g. but I'm sure in a few mo. ill have some to trade. I'm all for a club just can't make the meetings, but id support it from here . can always mail trimmings.
Hi, old thread, I know, but has anything gotten started in Maine? I'm in Auburn and a newbie but would love to get in touch with others that are into planted tanks in the state.
