Hmm, in that case i would just use the DIY root tab with clay, but i noticed GLA sells them in capsules. I wonder if i would need to add more iron some how. Thanks for the response!
No it would be far easier to buy dry CSM+B salts and dump it into the tank than mess around with loading clay balls (yes I've tried it and it doesn't make it easier).
What about for root feeders? I have lots of CSM+B to waste. But i really wanted to know if i could put them in a supplement capsule. I know the clay is good because of iron content of the clay. Ive heard a lot of good results with the clay root tabs.
I've had good results with the clay DIY tabs (mixed in CSM+B). The crypts and swords seem to do way better with the tabs. I also dry dose macro/micros. I've heard of people freezing ferts in ice cube trays and then placing these into the substrate as well. I haven't tried it myself, though.
