Just a last minute reminder that the fall cichlid auction is tomorrow, doors open at 10AM. I've never been to one so Im not sure what to expect, hopefully a lot of cool fish though . Here's the link with all the information... http://rmcichlid.org/wp/ai1ec_event/2012-fall-auction/?instance_id=7
If your not able to get some EBF's (electric blue rams?) at the auction, Catfish Charlie's has some in stock, they looked pretty darn healthy when I was there last week.
Does anyone know what the he** a "blue crystal shrimp" is? I bought some (most of them were dead... big disappointment), thinking they were crystal black shrimp with an off-name. What ones are still living look like a fairly pale, non-descript neo-type shrimp. Could they be blue velvets or something of the like?
The little plecos I got are gorgeous, though! Lots of nice plecos. Missed the two lots of Kribs.
I only stuck around for an hour or so...I got there at 1030 and looked through the fish bags but mostly saw african cichlids so around noon I bounced out. My favorite thing was those orange lobsters haha.
One of those plecos was bigger than my size 10.5 sneaker! It was like an auction of dinosaur fish! I love tiny fish tho lol. I missed the orange lobsters.
