I would like to purchase either some pumpkins or yellows. I would like your advice on the two types of shrimp and which one you would rather have in your planted tank. Thanks!

+1 more on Pumkins...
i think Fire yellow and Pumkins are $3~5 each now
if u set up a shrimp only tank , they will breed crazy like rcs

i started 2012 with one rcs tank and i also got more-shrimp-tank-addiction from here

those are my little boys... im looking for more kind of neos....
they breed much faster and more than car. bee or tiger shrimps

i tried Ada amazonia in 40gal , Akadama in 55gal and fss
but i found out if i have a 10gal tank with one bag of FSS 8.8lb and 2 hydro pro 3 sponge filters, i can breed crs or oebt and its much easier to maintain

5th pic is indian white back shrimps. they have different colors and their offspring has different colors as well... and 4th pic is tibee
they bred a lot , over a hundred. then i found few of them with green blue yellow colors.
i'm crossbreeding them with my crs in 10gal tank.

i also set up 5 of 10gal shrimps tanks (with fss and 2 hydro pro3 filters lol)
those tanks are for interbreed test tanks

u can read interbreeding neos are bad idea(rcs pumkin yellow.etc...)
but u cant find what exactly their offsprings look a like
so i set up 5 tanks.. and im running a test
firered , pumkin , snowball , yellow all live together in one tank
red rilli , pumkin in one tank
interbreeding Caridina...Caridina green , Caridina zebra together in one tank
i will show u what their offspring look like
maybe 6 months later :D

i found out i cant save all shrimps so i use cull ones as feeder for my frontosa
if result is bad... no worry
