It was heart wrenching - she doesn't cry, she's a demon. She gives that spitting/hissing thing I call "spissing" and she lashes out like lightning. She's not declawed. She laid one of the tech's fingers open for 3" one time. She bites the laser and I was afraid she's break a tooth. But if she doesn't get the treatment it won't stop spreading, and once it starts it spreads as fast as lightning too. (it's called rodent ulcer but it has nothing to do with rodents)
She's only acting out because she's scared - whatever her experiences were as a newborn and being tossed into the dumpster did it's work on her.
Now she's on an 1/8 of a tablet of clomacalm (may have misspelled it) and I give her travel carrier a spritz of synthetic hormone before we go. She's basically fine since I see the husband & he lets me hold her. She growls a little and that's it. She even let him pet her all around the head & chin last time! (I was so proud of him for being brave enough to try - lol). He & I feel the every two weeks treatment - even if she doesn't have the ulcer at that time - will desensitize her to the whole thing and it seems to be working. They only charge me $25 each time which is a break (but still hard on me), it's normally $45.
i use nail caps on the kitten! kinda expensive but keeps claws covered.
and poor girl...she went through a rough time and she has an excuse to be a bit nasty. mine is just super protective generally...she goes into attack mode when someone scares me or yells.
ive seen the calm stuff and thought about it, but none of my pets freak out too bad
thats nice he gives youa discount, what i like about small offices.
This is Pheobe she passed away a few years ago, she loved my but was the meanest cats you ever meet. people would ask can I pet your cat? 'yeah, but at your own risk'

Below is Fredo like Alfredo he is the best dog, friendly, smart, and want to please you, he's 3 years old. He loves to play too!
We have some Chinchillas too, this is a female kit, we have a breeding pair and they had 2 females and one male kit but we found the kits good homes, we don' have many photos of them.
He is actually quite a light fellow, but very large at the same time (he is 21 inches) at the time i took this picture he was shedding so puffing his body up and what not. lol I swear i don't over feed him to much!

Yup! The one on the right just took his first major this weeken at 6 months old. We measured him too, 28" at the shoulder, at 6 months! He's gonna be a big boy!
Thanks Bree! Boots and teddy are adorable! Is that boots with long hair on your profile pic? (it always makes me laugh when I see it) Also fellow 1/2 kanuk here - Family was originally from Regina in Saskatchewan. Amazing how far north you are up there, almost at the top of the world!
