Moving to Riverside in July, new to the area, looking for a LFS

I've lived in central KY all my life, but my wife got a job at UCR, so now we're packing up and moving out to Riverside California. I'm completely unfamiliar with southern CA, are there any good LFS in the Riverside area?

I read an earlier post mentioning Neptune's in Milpitas, I don't mind to drive, but closer is better of course.

Thanks,
Ryan

There aren't any good fish stores out here in the IE for planted tanks. The best closest one is CK Fishworld in West Covina. Also, join SCAPE. We are have monthly meeting around So Cal and will be having one in Riverside in a few months. I think SCAPE is the largest and most active club in the country.

Default Riverside!/EI/Rubidoux!

My old stomping grounds. Miss it very much,(mountains, beach, desert, and IN N Out Berger) but I wouldn't change living in the Midwest for anything.
Sorry for smashing your thread,(free bump)

yea the one in west covina is the best you're gonna get but its just alright. they have some pretty nice shrimp but their plants could be better. if you wanted anything better you'd have to drive to the LA area.

Just wanted to say thanks for the suggestions. We arrived safely in town last week, and I've already had the pleasure of checking out Nature Aquarium and CK Fish World. Also I'm looking forward to attending a SCAPE meeting.

Yeah, I go to school at UCR, but I'm from LA. There's a lot of LFS's out there. It's about a 30-45 minute drive away.

Fish Fantasy off of Arlington and Van Buren is small but decent. Sally one of the employees there is extremely knowledgeable and is pretty cool. Also Pam the owner is friendly, she has a thick accent but she will order any type of fish or plant you are looking for if you ask her. Fish Fantasy has been a family ran business for decades, they used to be called E & M Tropical Fish.
