For my 7 gallon I use measuring spoons-dash, pinch, and smidgen. A smidgen is 1/32 of a teaspoon. I did some research and found this was suitable. Here is my dosing schedule:
CSM+B Trace mix:
0.5g Ascorbic Acid & 0.2g Potassium Sorbate
Or 2.5mls pool acid acid (To prevent mold/bacteria),
wait 5-10 minutes and then add 2 tsp CSM+B/500mL of distilled water.
5mL dose/5gal=0.3ppm Fe
Or, make a stock solution for the 20 gallon and use a smaller mL dose for your 5 gallon. Wet's, "Yet Another Nutrient Calculator" will also give you dry doses.
154.31 mg of KNO3=1 smidgen
