New LED

Looking to replace flourescent lighting. My tank is 24"x12"x14", would one 24" fixture be enough to light the entire base of the tank, enough for growing things like HC. I was thinking of a Dutch 6300K.

Hi Ryan,

One 24" fixture will be plenty, although if you go with the Dutch 6300K spectrum it wouldn't be a bad idea to go with the XB line rather than Original Series.

Are you planning to mount the light directly on the tank or suspend it above? Will this be an all-carpet, iwagumi style 'scape? Both answers may affect my recommendations for your setup.

Let me know what you think!
