Hey guys, just searched around evilbay looking around for nano cubes. I managed to find a low iron mini cube from glosso factory for below $30. Out of a whim, I bought it to try it out for shrimp. Has anyone else tried a tank from them? Thanks!
Glosso Factory's been seen selling items on TPT before, so that's why I went ahead and bought one of their tanks. I'll be happy if it's as well built as the truaqua cubes since they're getting positive reviews. From their main site, it was definitely a higher price, so seeing it for below $30 surprised me!
I have the glosso factory spiral bubble counter. This thing is the beefiest piece of glass I have ever seen. I can probably knock somebody out with this thing without breaking it. Can't wait to see how good their tanks are.
Oh, that's good to hear! The tank should be coming in Monday, I'll probably set up a tank journal for it since it's the first one I've seen of their tanks.
Been eying there tank but they were selling a do!aqua mini l for 45 so just had to grab it lol dont really care for low iron tanks much and i like how the doaqua tanks come with the tank cover holders
I saw those too, but since my main focus was going to be my 20 gallon long anyways, I just settled for the 2 gallon cube haha. Plus, I needa conserve at least SOME money.
I would never want to put my roommates into that situation haha. I have a current roommate who's deafly afraid of fish jumping out of a tank in front of him. It's a phobia of his haha.
i also have many items from glosso and been to his office. the owner is a great guy and took pride in his product line, i am sure these tanks will be just as nice as he was haveing issue getting ada and do aqua to resell.
It was packages really well, was put in a box then covered in bubble wrap, so the thing came in one piece haha.
Edges look great and the tank came with a mat to go underneath.
I didn't have time to set it up, but I found a nice area to put it in. Just need to pick up stuff from home as I had accidentally left everything back at my parent's place.
I have some shadow areas in my tank, mainly from the rocks blocking the light. It might need to either be raised higher, or you can try one of the clip on leds for better light.
Maybe its just the angle or light refraction, but in your picture it doesn't look like the front and side are aligned very well (looks like the side is inset).
Was the mat included, or did you have to pay extra?
just got my 20x20x20 in today and its nice. mine didn't seem to have the sides inset but the top of the sides are like less then 1mm taller then the front so its not perfect but in the end i don't care as the joints are just about perfect and at the price i payed im not going to complain.
here's my 20x20x20 setup. think im going to do pumpkin shrimp in here.
