Thanks, I may take you up on your offer if the pipettes i ordered don't work. I'm hoping they're thin enough to get through the thin neck of the drop checker. I should get them next week so I'll know then.

I have lots of those. No way would that work for the drop checker I have. I believe mine also has a defect like aweeby's. The ADA drop checkers are hand made so there are variances to the size of the neck and some appear to be flawed. Since I have two of them, I can say for sure that the "good" one is much, much easier to fill than the "bad" one. They aren't even the same.

Okay so I got the fluid in, finally...
Couple questions now

Where do I put the o ring? If I need one?

Should the water level be going up the checker? Right now it's a few cm up as you can maybe see in the pic...

What should I be looking at for bps and psi?

Sorry the pics are tilted

No problem with the water going up a little into the drop checker.

I'm not sure which o-ring you're talking about since there's more than one. Keep in mind that an o-ring is usually a black, rubbery type of thing.

There is a white plastic washer that you have to put on which may be what you're thinking of. The washer goes on between the cylinder and the regular (that big nut you tighten down). It seals that connection since there's so much pressure between the cylinder and regulator.

Yeah, fill it about 3/4 of the way. You can use water or mineral oil. Mineral oil will last longer.
