I awoke this morning to my golden trio doing the wiggly dance. Should I remove the other fish; a bn pleco, 5 guppies. Or will these loaches eat the babies themselves?
Let the fishes eat the eggs. I don't think you'd want 100 dojos on your hands. You can siphon out a few eggs and keep it in a separate tank if you want.
I'm just guessing
It depends on the size of the dojo. A mature female is 7-10 inches long and will hold on to a lot of eggs. I don't know if they'll breed in the tank though.
They are an invasive species. They've made their home in the States now.
They'll most likely eat the eggs themselves, though occasionally a few manage to hatch in aquariums. Fry are tiny and slow-growing.
