Hi from Los Angeles area

Been lurking for a little while now just researching and looking at things and figured it is time to make an account and say hi. I have some experiance in aquariums, about 17 years and have learned one thing, That you can always squeeze in one more tank and that will be it. I currently have 5 tanks up and running.

1 - 180 reef tank w/ 55 g sump
1 - 180 FOWLR with a 55g and 75g sump
1 - 40 gallon breeder with African Cichlids
1 55g bowfront with rescued cichlids
and a 29g species only tank for a pair of blue labs.

I started my tank yesterday, a 40g long. So far I just have the substrate in which is fluorite and pfs. Lighting I am using 2-110 watt bulbs with an Icecap 660 Ballast. Supposed to use 4 bulbs but have the other 2 bulbs will be going to another tank when I get it set up.

I have no plants in it right now but have 3 goldfish in it to keep ammonia going. I seeded a filter on another tank a month ago so I won't have to cycle it as much.

Welcome to the forum. I and I'm sure many others would like to see pictures of your tanks if you get the chance.
