I think you might be right about it being Nesaea 'red'. If so you must be doing something right, because it's apparently pretty difficult to just keep alive. I've never had luck with any Nesaea sp. myself; i've always stayed FAR away from them.
Nesaea pedicellata 'Golden' close-up (~1 week ago):

The same N. pedicellata 'Golden' to the left of Ludwigia inclinata var. verticillata 'Cuba':

You should try it, the only real 'yellow' plant that I could find so far. Out of about 6 plants I have, only one has bright pink stem. Still no idea why.

I will take a pic of L. inclinata var. verticillata 'Cuba' tomorrow from the top.

Thanks a lot, AzFishKid

I concur. That's Nesaea pedicellata 'golden' on the right and Ludwigia inclinata var verticillata 'Cuba' on the left in the pictures above.

As for the original plant in question, I'll have to agree with catwat and Azfishkid. Some type of Rotala macrandra variant. Either butterfly or narrow leaf (magenta).

Oh yeah, you're definitely right. It was hard to tell in the previous photos but it's obvious in that one. Cool plants!

That definitely looks like Nesae Red. Bought a bunch of it yesterday.

Ever checked out "creeping Jenny golden"? It's not as yellow as nesaea, but it is a bright lime green. In some tanks it does turn yellow, but no idea what they do to get it that way.

Did you get them emersed or imersed?
Could you please post some pictures? Thank you.

Looks emersed but not entirely sure. I'll snap a pic when I get home tonight.

Thank you, cprash.

It does look good, especially the display. I cannot decide if it looks emersed or not to me, I don't have much experience with it....
In any case, wish you luck and keep us posted.
