Moss and Crypt ID Please and Thank You

I have some extra moss and Crypt daughter plants I am going to try and sell locally but I want to make sure I know what I have first so as not to mislead anyone. I know depending on the light, etc. the same type of plant can look quite different so I figured I'd ask the experts!

I have two mosses that were both sold to me as java but I believe one might be flame moss.



Flame Moss or ?






Java Moss?






And then the Crypt. I really don't have a clue, there are so many that look alike to me. Not a great picture but it is mostly red under the leaves.

I'm thinking the Crypt is probably Red Wendtii. Cheap, popular, and doesn't require any special care or good lighting.

Second moss is definitely java moss. The first one could be willow moss. Definitely not flame moss. Could you attach a picture that isn't so close up so we could see it's growth pattern?

Thanks for the reply! Here are some cell phone shots of the moss in question.


A smaller portion in my husband's tank to show the growth pattern more. It doesn't grow very quickly in his tank. Always just grows up in strings, doesn't really "branch" much if at all no matter which tank it's in here.
