Got bored today, so I decided to do a quick setup of this 3/4 gallon bowl. Just obnoxiously large gravel (seriously, I can't do anything with this stuff!), a pump, and a couple plants. My goal was to be able to set it up and take it down within 10 minutes each. It'll take longer for the gravel to dry out, but I'm not counting that.
Maybe I'll use this as the base design for an actual ripar/palu/terrarium someday, but mostly I wanted to see if this sort of tiny water feature would look nice. I think it does. With more work, it might be worth making into a permanent setup, but I didn't feel like that today. Maybe a shotglass or two could be mostly buried for terrestrial plants. And then some anubias, and maybe moss. Nothing too complicated, but it might look nice.
