How to sterilize live plants before putting in tank?

I am wanting to know what is a good salution to dip plants in to sterilize live plants without killing the plant itself. Im wanting any kind of protozoa knocked off from the get go. Thanks!

Most people do a dip a hydrogen peroxide.

Of what salution though. I get Peroxide in bulk and have the potent 30% peroxide and not the 3% sold at retail stores.

There are many ways to do it.

Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2)
Potassium Permanganate
Salt
Alum
Bleach

It depends on what you're trying to get rid of.

I personally do a bleach dip. 1 part bleach 20 parts water. But you have to rinse extremely well and then I soak them in just water for a short period, just to be sure allll the bleach is gone before adding to tank.

Would this method be safe for mosses, and mini pellia? I also have a Bucephalandra that I want to move from my other tank to my show tank. Problem is, my "other tank" has these little bugs (some kind of isopod I think) and it seems that no matter how much I clean and change the water, there's always a thick layer of brown debris covering everything within a few days again. This debris doesn't stick to anything. It's just like very loose very light dusty debris that settles. Like volcanic ash.. you know? What could that be? And I wonder if the bleach will kill everything that poses a risk. My show tank is VERY clean and problem free.

Mosses are very delicate do not use bleach to get rid of snails, algae, etc.
I use potassium permanganate, I have a very bad experience when I used bleach to clean new mosses.
