Worm in my tank

I have a relatively new tank its about 2 months or so. I have ecocomplete topped with black diamond. This morning I saw a worm that looked like a small earth worm. I tried to grab it and it curled up and got away from me.

What is it? and Is it harmful to my plants and shrimp? I have HC, Dwarf Hair Grass and RCS, CRS and Yellows.

thanks.

Probably planaria. Those worms are nasty and kill baby shrimps. People use dog stuff to treat it.

planaria look nothing like earthworms, and they're about...ehh a quarter of an inch long? maybe a half inch, at most. they're also flat- i have to disagree with this theory.

Pictures are necessary to determine what it is.

I know what planaria look like and it wasnt planaria. It was thicker like an earth worm with similar color. It curled up into my HC and I lost it. Next time I will get a pic.

Likely one of those. If so, they are harmless
