I went to five aquarium shops today. And Lululemon (to make the wife happy). This is my idea of a vacation. It's stressful... these long weekends where the shops are closed and I can't visit. How do I relax when my tanks are 1200km away and all the fish stores are closed?

My Wife and I do the hobby together. So we have 6 local fish stores and 2 out of town but about 40 minutes away. We make a field trip for a full day just going to each one..

I had Shoulder surgery about 2 months ago. They had to repair the torn Biceps muscle and tendon that detached from the shoulder from a tear. They had to repair the full tear in my Rotator cuff tendon that detached, Repair the cartalidge in the socket of the shoulder joint, as well as grind out the bone spurs in the socket and remove the impinged/pinched tissue and nerves that were pinched in the joint from my shoulder dislocation when they put it back in.

Im not supposed to do anything with it.. Think thats stopped me lol...

I know what this is like! My shoulder came out of socket a good 25+ times before getting surgery. Good times.

When you go to grocery store and buy a flavor injector thinking, "this will make a great dosing tool."

Whenever its water change day day and u spend four hours doing it. Even though it takes 15 minutes... just cause ur enjoying ur hand in the tank. Cleaning the filter. Moving plants. Trying to see if ur fish will nibble the air bubble attached to the hairs on ur arm

You know, the good stuff

You know you're addicted when: we went to 2 fish stores just yesterday - I'm so glad my boyfriend is into the hobby too, even though I'm the one who sets up and maintains the tanks.

I also look forward to getting home from work when the lights come on and seeing my happy fish!

And, I love weeding my little water garden...I could do it for hours, easily!
