Co2 Difusion

So i bought a Co2 set up yesterday and i am having an issue. i have the gas diffusing out of a wood airstone and goes right up into my maxi jet 1200 and it does a good job but the bubbles i feel like are not diffusing? Could i have the airstone diffuse into my intake of my marineland canister? Or is there something wrong with that?

Yeh you can diffuse into the canister intake, I do that with my aqua top canister. The canister will burp once in a while but other wise works good.
